Sharon Komolafe works at the intersection of mathematics education, SEND and social justice. Her work moves between research, curriculum and the tools teachers use in the classroom, with a focus on mastery, teacher development, and outcomes for disadvantaged students and students with SEND. It is grounded in her doctoral research in Education and Social Justice at Lancaster University. She is passionate about female empowerment and the underrepresentation of women as role models in mathematics.

OnBoard Maths
Free maths games for phone-free classrooms. The games run on a single interactive whiteboard with no phones, logins or student devices: the teacher leads and the whole class takes part. Built for KS3 and GCSE, starting with Tug of War, Target Number and Quick Fire.
Education
Sharon studied Mathematics with Economics at the University of Greenwich, graduating with First Class honours, followed by an MSc in Computational Finance. She holds a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics with QTS, graded Outstanding, from Goldsmiths, University of London, and is now a doctoral candidate in Education and Social Justice at Lancaster University.
